Joe Harrington has always known he wanted to be a journalist.

Joe comes to Reno from Eureka, California where he was a reporter/morning anchor for KIEM-TV. Prior to that, he worked as a reporter or anchor for several television stations in his home state of Ohio.

He graduated from Kent State University, Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Broadcast News. Joe also earned several scholarships for his work -- among them, the prestigious John S. Knight memorial scholarship.

Joe's career highlights include: covering a 7.2 magnitude earthquake, reporting on wildfires between Eureka and Redding, interviewing President Jimmy Carter in Nevada and reporting on health care issues facing Northern California.

Proud to now call Nevada "home," Joe enjoys spending his free time outdoors in the state's beautiful mountains.

At KOLO-TV, Joe aims to continue to tell stories that make a difference in the community.
