After working at several television stations across the country as a photographer, reporter, anchor and weather personality, Karoline is happy to be joining KOLO 8 News Now Daybreak. Karoline loves living in Reno, and taking advantage of all the events, festivals and concerts the area has to offer. Some of her favorites are the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, Rib Cook-Off, Street Vibrations, and the Reno Rodeo.

Karoline says one of the highlights of working in television is getting to meet new people everyday and learning more about the community in which she lives.

One of her favorite moments as a reporter was being embedded with the Oregon National Guard during training exercises at Camp Shelby, Mississippi.

Her least favorite part of the job is having to interview family members of someone who has died tragically. "I'm very sensitive and compassionate. I try to treat people the way I would want to be treated."

Karoline is always looking for story ideas, and enjoys giving a voice to those who might not otherwise have a way to tell their story.
