The Nevada football team will play at least one time on ESPN this season as the Wolf Pack’s game at San Diego State on Oct. 4 will be televised nationally at 6 p.m. by the network, the Mountain West announced Tuesday. The announcement was the first in a series of television releases by the league with television info and kickoff times for other games to be announced in the coming weeks.
The University of Nevada (19-19, 7-10 MW) baseball team lost 7-2 to Mountain West leading New Mexico (23-16, 13-4 MW) at Peccole Park on Saturday afternoon. The Lobos have won the first two games of the series after taking Friday night’s game 5-2. The Wolf Pack is now 19-19 and 7-10 in MW play while UNM improved to 23-16 and 12-4 in the conference.

The loss dropped the Wolf Pack to 19-18 overall and 7-9 in MW play. The Lobos improved to 22-16 and 12-4 in conference action.
The University of Nevada baseball team lost a Mountain West game by a score of 15-2 at UNLV on Saturday afternoon. Nevada won 7-6 on Friday and the series is tied at a game apiece with one remaining tomorrow. The Wolf Pack is now 18-16 on the season and 6-8 in the Mountain West while the Rebels are 23-11 and 8-6 in conference play.
Former Wolf Pack star Luke Babbitt scored 12 points in the Trail Blazers' 113-106 loss to the Lakers on Wednesday night.
