Three Pack Pitchers Taken on Final Day of MLB Draft

Posted: 06/07/2014 - University of Nevada junior pitchers Jordan Dunatov, Colby Blueberg and Tyler Wells were all selected on the final day of the 2014 Major League Baseball Draft today. The three join junior first baseman Austin Byler who was drafted on Friday in the ninth round by the Washington Nationals to give the Wolf Pack four players that were selected from a team that went 31-27 this past season. The juniors could opt to not sign and return for their senior seasons in 2015.

Brooks is the ninth Wolf Pack player to earn freshman All-America honors since 2000 with Kewby Meyer being the most recent to earn the honor in 2012.
