Posted: 05/16/2015 - Nevada finished two games on Saturday and had to settle for a series split with Air Force to close the regular season at Peccole Park. The 22nd-ranked Wolf Pack won Thursday’s rain-postponed game, 7-6, on a walk-off squeeze bunt in the 11th inning before dropping game two, 5-4, later in the afternoon.

Pack Walks-Off for 7-6 Victory in Rain-Postponed Game

Posted: 05/16/2015 - Jay Anderson scored on Kyle Hunt’s suicide squeeze bunt and No. 22 Nevada downed Air Force in walk-off fashion, 7-6, on Saturday at Peccole Park. The game was tied 6-6 in the 10th inning before being postponed due to rain on Thursday. After another rain-out on Friday, the game finally resumed today with Nevada quickly claiming the victory.

ESPN Acquires Rights to Mountain West Conference Football Championship Game

Posted: 05/15/2015 - ESPN and the Mountain West have reached an agreement for rights to the Conference’s annual football championship game, enhancing an existing multimedia pact through the 2019-20 season. The football title contest adds to an extensive deal, which began with the 2013 season, that provides ESPN with exclusive worldwide rights to televise up to 16 Mountain West football games, plus every Boise State home game, as well as up to 31 conference-controlled men’s basketball games annually. ESPN will have the right to make every game available to video subscribers via WatchESPN.

Pack Collects Win No. 40 in 4-0 Shutout

Posted: 05/09/2015 - The 22nd-ranked Nevada baseball team became the third team in program history to reach the 40-win plateau as junior LHP Christian Stolo and sophomore RHP Evan McMahan combined for a shutout. The Wolf Pack defeated Creighton, 4-0, Saturday at TD Amertirade Park Omaha to clinch the series victory and improve to 40-12 on the season.
