Posted: 09/04/2010 - RENO, Nev. – The University of Nevada (3-2) volleyball team improved to 3-2 after a 3-1 victory over Belmont (2-4) in its first match on Saturday of the Nevada Invitational taking place at the Virginia Street Gym this weekend. The Wolf Pack won by scores of 25-14, 20-25, 25-18 and 25-19 to move to 2-0 in the invitational while the Bruins fell to 2-4 on the season and 0-2 on the weekend. In the first match of day two Notre Dame (4-1) swept Weber State (0-6) as they also stand at 2-0 on the weekend and the Wildcats are 0-2.
