RENO - The Wolf Pack were beaten at home 66-64 by San Jose State on Tuesday night. It's Nevada's fifth loss in a row.
Isaac Thornton led the Spartans ( 7-19, 1-13 MWC) with a game-high 15 points, while Jaleel Williams added 12 points in the win. It snaps San Jose State's 13-game losing streak, and gives them their first conference win of the season.
Deonte Burton and Cole Huff led Nevada with 14 points apiece. Michael Perez added 13, while Jerry Evans Jr. scored 10 in the loss.
Nevada (12-15, 7-7 MWC) now heads to Air Force (10-14, 4-9 MWC) on Saturday. The Wolf Pack is in sixth place in the conference standings with just four games to go. The top five seeds get a first round bye in the conference tournament.
