EuroBasket News is reporting that Armon Johnson has agreed to a contract with BC Astana over in Kazakhstan.
Johnson played in just one game with the Trail Blazers last season before being released. He was then signed to a pair of 10-day contracts by the Nets, averaging 5.6 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists in eight games with New Jersey.
He also was in training camp this season with the Orlando Magic.
He was a second-round pick by Portland back in the 2010 NBA draft.
The Hug high school graduate played three years at Nevada, averaging 14.3 points, 4.4 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game.
BC Astana is a powerhouse division one team. They have won seven league titles over the last eight seasons.
