RENO, Nev. - Former Wolf Pack guard Ramon Sessions is close to signing a two-year deal worth $10 million with the Charlotte Bobcats. A number of media outlets are reporting that the Bobcats are awaiting Sessions' signature.
At his basketball camp in South Reno Thursday, Sessions declined to comment on joining the Bobcats, however, he did say he was fortunate to play in the NBA.
"I'm going on five teams in six years, six coaches in six years," Sessions told KOLO 8 Thursday. "It's one of those things where I am fortunate enough to have 'Sessions' on the back of a jersey."
"If Reno had a NBA team, if I came out here, it really wouldn't matter. I'm not soul-searching on a certain team. It really doesn't matter to me."
Over the course of his five-year career, Sessions averages 11.1 points and five assists, per-game.. He was selected in the second round of the 2007 NBA Draft.
