RENO, Nev. – First-year Nevada women’s golf coach Kathleen Takaishi announced the signing of Celyn Khoo to a National Letter of Intent on Friday.
A native of Auckland, New Zealand, Khoo is an accomplished junior player. She won the 2011 Junior Junior Tiger Event-Tournament in New Zealand as well as the 2012 South Island Stroke Play. In 2011, She shot 82-78-82 at the Junior World event.
This year, Khoo and her older sister, Caryn (a sophomore for the Wolf Pack), won the New Zealand Foursome event.
“We are excited to have Celyn join our program,” Takaishi said. “She is a fantastic player and will make an immediate impact for our team.”
