RENO, Nev. - Wolf Pack cornerback Khalid Wooten has been invited to play in the 88th annual East-West Shrine Game.
Wooten had 53 tackles this season, including two for loss. He also had a sack, two interceptions and 17 passes defended. He scored a touchdown on his interception against Hawai'i.
He was also pretty good on special teams. He was named to the All-Conference second team as a punt returner. Wooten averaged 15.1 yards on 16 returns this season.
He'll join teammates Zach Sudfeld and Duke Williams in the Shrine Game.
It's on January 19th at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. It will air live on the NFL Network.
