JC Center Gives Verbal Commitment to Nevada

RENO - Junior College transfer Ronnie Stevens has given his verbal commitment to play at Nevada next season. It was first reported by VerbalCommits.com, but Stevens confirmed it on his Facebook page.

Stevens is a 6-foot-9, 220 pound center from Indian Hills Community College. He originally signed to play at Hawai'i out of high school.

He averaged 4.6 points and 2.6 rebounds per game last season as a sophomore, playing just 8.3 minutes per game.

He joins a recruiting class that consists of guard D.J. Fenner and forwards A.J. West and Lucas Stivrins. Guard Patrick Conroy will be a walk-on.

Nevada still has one scholarship left to fill for next season.
