For the second straight week, a member of the Nevada Wolf Pack has been named the Mountain West Conference's Offensive Player of the Week. Sophomore quarterback Cody Fajardo won the award this week after passing for 271 yards and a touchdown, and rushing for 134 yards and 2 touchdowns in Saturday's 32-31 loss to South Florida.
Fajardo's 405 total yards are the most by any player in the Mountain West Conference this season. This is his first career MWC Player of the Week honor.
San Diego State defensive back Nat Berhe was named Defensive Player of the Week, and Fresno State kicker Quentin Breshears earned special teams honors.
