Deonte Burton scored with six seconds to go to hand Nevada a 60-58 win over Cal Poly on Tuesday night.
Burton's three-point play completed an 11-point comeback for the Wolf Pack (1-1) who won their first game of the season.
Burton finished with a game-high 22 points, grabbing five rebounds with four steals. Cole Huff scored a career-high 14 points, while Michael Perez added 13 points and six rebounds.
Nevada played without starter Jerry Evans Jr., who sat out with a knee injury that he suffered on Friday night.
The Wolf Pack next play at San Francisco (1-0) on Friday night. Tip off is set for 7pm.
