Czyz Picks Nevada for Basketball

RENO - A source confirmed to KOLO-TV that Olek Czyz will transfer to Nevada.

Czyz spent the last three semesters at Duke. He started two games for the Blue Devils this season, averaging 2.5 points and two rebounds per game.

Czyz was a top 150 recruit coming out of Reno High School. He helped lead the Huskies to two State Championships, which included a title during his senior season.

Czyz chose Nevada over Arizona State. He visited the ASU campus just last week.

The 6-foot-7 sophomore forward will enroll for the Spring semester at Nevada beginning on January 19th. He will still have two and a half years of eligibility. He will be eligible to play for the Wolf Pack beginning next Spring.
