Forrmer Wolf Pack linebacker Andy Buh will return to Nevada as the team's new defensive coordinator. The Nevada athletic staff says it will hold a press conference on Thursday at 11am to discuss "the football team's future."

Defensive tackles coach Jim House has also been fired, according to the Reno Gazette Journal.

Buh spent the past three seasons as Stanford's linebackers coach and the previous two as the Cardinal's co-defensive coordinator.

He played two season at linebacker for the Pack before graduating in 1996. Buh served as defensive backs/special teams coach in 1999, after two years as a graduate assistant.

He will have to shore up a team that finished 2009 119 out of 120 in pass defense one year after being ranked dead last.

Former defensive coordinator Nigel Burton left Nevada last month to accept the head coaching position at Portland State.
