ATLANTA - Four days after he was designated for assignment by the Atlanta Braves, former Wolf Pack outfielder Ryan Church has become a free-agent.

The Braves chose not to tender a contract to the 31-year-old, allowing him to sign with any team.

A career .272 hitter, last season, Church hit a combined .273 in 111 games with the Mets and Braves.
