2,000-YARD CLUB: Senior running back Luke Lippincott needed 20 rushing yards to hit 2,000 for his career and he accomplished that in the third quarter.
STREAKS: Senior tackle Alonzo Durham started his 29th consecutive game. The co-captain has not missed a start since making his first career start at the 2006 MPC Computers Bowl. Also, junior tackle Mike Gallett made his 22nd straight start while Jonathon Amaya made his 19th straight start.
RETURNS: Freshman Mike Ball had a 50-yard kickoff return in the first half, the longest of the season for Nevada and the longest since Alex Rosenblum had a 50-yarder in 2007.
Similarly, freshman Brandon Wimberly had a 19-yard punt return in the first half, the longest off the season for Nevada and the longest since Rosenblum had a 56-yard punt return in 2007.
STARTERS: Nevada’s starters were as expected, except the offense opened in a double-tight end set with Kevin Bohr getting his first start of the season in place of receiver Chris Wellington.
WEEKLY LUNCHEONS: The University of Nevada Quarterback Club Luncheons will begin this Monday at the Peppermill Hotel-Casino in Reno. Coach Ault will review the Colorado State game with a film review, and will preview the Missouri game. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the cost is $16 per person. The luncheons are open to the public.
