Baseball's trading deadline is still more than three weeks away, but one team is already calling Kevin Kouzmanoff's name.
Multiple sources say the Mariners are talking with the Padres about trading for the former Pack star.
Seattle is looking for an everyday third baseman to replace Adrian Beltre who has been sidelined 6-8 weeks after having shoulder surgery.
Kouzmanoff and his ten home runs would give the Mariners some much-needed power and with Beltre becoming a free-agent next season, Kouzmanoff could also be a long-term solution down the road.
