Former Wolf Pack star Javale McGee was one of two Washington Wizards' players ticketed for reckless driving.
McGee and teammate Nick Young were both cited by Virgiinia Police for excessive speeding along an access road leading to Dulles International Airport.
Police will not say how fast either players was driving, but under Virginia State law you can be charged with reckless driving for going more than 20 miles per hour over the speed limit. You can also be cited for driving more than 80 miles an hour, for racing, or for driving in a manner that endangers life, limb or property.
Young has denied that the two were racing each other, saying they were sinply late to catch a team flight to Boston.
If convicted, the maximum penalty is one year in jail, a $2,500 fine and the loss of one's license for six months. They're due in court on February 26th.
