Wolf Pack's Win Streak Snapped at San Francisco

Posted: 04/15/2014 - The University of Nevada (19-15) baseball team’s six-game win streak was snapped after the Wolf Pack fell 7-0 to San Francisco (17-18) at Benedetti Diamond Tuesday afternoon. The Pack dropped to 19-15 while the Dons improved to 17-18 on the season.

Two Burton Dunks Nominated for College Dunk of the Year

Updated: 12:52 AM - Two dunks by University of Nevada senior point guard Deonte Burton have been nominated for the fifth annual College Dunk of the Year Tournament, hosted by The Hoops Manifesto. The dunks occurred at UNLV and at Boise State. The dunk at BSU was number one on ESPN’s top 10 Plays of the Day and the dunk at UNLV was second.

Nevada Completes Series Sweep of SDSU With 11-4 Victory

Posted: 04/13/2014 - The University of Nevada (19-14, 11-7 MW) baseball team defeated San Diego State (25-11, 10-8 MW) 11-4 on Sunday afternoon at Peccole Park to complete the three-game Mountain West series sweep of the Aztecs. The Wolf Pack improved to 11-7 in MW play and took over sole possession of third place in the conference standings, one game in front of SDSU’s 10-8 mark.

Nevada Tied for Third After Blanking San Diego State 8-0

Posted: 04/12/2014 - The University of Nevada (18-14, 10-7 MW) baseball team moved into a tie for third place in the Mountain West standings after blanking San Diego State (25-10, 10-7 MW) 8-0 on Saturday afternoon at Peccole Park. The Wolf Pack and Aztecs are now tied for third in the MW standings at 10-7.

Nevada Hits Three Home Runs in 4-2 Victory

Posted: 04/11/2014 - The University of Nevada (17-14, 9-7 MW) baseball team hit a season-high three home runs to defeat San Diego State (25-9, 10-6 MW) 4-2 in the first-game of a three-game Mountain West series at Peccole Park on Friday night. Winners of a season-high four in a row the Wolf Pack improved to 17-14 and 9-7 in MW action while the Aztecs dropped to 25-9 and 10-6 in conference play. Nevada is three games over .500 for the first time this season.
