Nevada Wins on Senior Day

Posted: 05/10/2009 - In his final game at Peccole Park University of Nevada (25-25, 10-9 WAC) senior third baseman Tyson Jaquez doubled home two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Wolf Pack a 7-6 victory over Sacramento State (27-22, 8-10 WAC) on Senior Day. The victory was the first for the Wolf Pack in the four-game Western Athletic Conference series after the Hornets won the first three contests. With the victory the Pack improved to 25-25 overall and 10-9 in WAC play. The Hornets dropped to 27-22 on the season and 8-10 in conference action.
