With the loss the Wolf Pack dropped to 5-9 on the season while the Ducks improved to 7-7.

Nevada's Berger-Sabbatel Earns All-American Honors

Sophomore Greg Berger-Sabbatel earned his second All-America certificate of the meet, and the Nevada skiing team remains in 10th place after the second day of competition at the 2009 NCAA Skiing Championships, being held March 11-14 at the Sunday River (alpine) and Black Mountain (Nordic) Ski Resorts.

Kentucky Passes Bill Requiring Coaches Safety Training

Kentucky House lawmakers unanimously passed a bill Friday to require the state's high school coaches to complete first aid and sports safety training on athlete heat stroke and cold emergencies, a measure inspired by the death of a teenage football player at a sweltering summer practice.
