Posted: 02/27/2010 - NAMPA, Idaho – The University of Nevada track and field team finished sixth at the 2010 WAC Indoor Championships hosted by Boise State in Nampa, Idaho. LA Tech won the meet with 175 points followed by Utah State (104.5), Idaho (102), New Mexico State (63), Hawai’i (61.50), Nevada (55.50), Boise State (49.50) and Fresno State (49.50). La Tijera Avery won a bronze medal in the high jump and earned six WAC points with a jump of 1.70m (5-07.00). The mark is the ninth best mark in school history as Avery earned first team All-WAC honors for her finish.
