Wolf Pack Lose Third Straight Game

RENO - The Wolf Pack lost their third game in a row on Wednesday night, falling at home to Fresno State 75-67.

Deonte Burton and Jerry Evans Jr. each had 14 points in the loss. It was an off night for Burton, who made just 3-of-10 free throw attempts, despite being a 75% shooter on the season. He missed his first seven of the night.

Michael Perez added 11 points, while Cole Huff chipped in 10.

Tyler Johnson paced the Bulldogs (12-13, 5-7) with a game-high 17 points and 10 rebounds. Paul Watson added 15.

Nevada (12-13, 7-5) has a tough test this weekend with a game at New Mexico on Saturday afternoon. The Lobos (18-5, 9-2) will be out to avenge a one-point loss to Boise State on Wednesday night.

The loss also drops the Wolf Pack into fourth place in the conference standings, 3.5 games behind San Diego State and a half game behind third-place UNLV.
