MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Wisconsin has approved a five-year contract
extension for Bo Ryan, who has taken the Badgers to the round of 16 the past two seasons.
The University of Wisconsin Athletic Board approved the deal Friday. Ryan's contract will now run through 2017. Terms were not disclosed.
Wisconsin went 26-10 last season and was the nation's best defensive team, allowing 53.2 points per game. The Badgers lost to Syracuse in the NCAA tournament.
