RENO - Nevada's James-Michael Johnson and Rishard Matthews have been invited to play in the 2012 Senior Bowl all-star game.
Johnson, a middle linebacker, was second on the team this season with 87 tackles and 3.5 for loss. He also had an interception and one fumble recovery.
Matthews, a wide receiver, led the WAC with 91 catches for 1,364 yards and eight touchdowns. He also averaged 13.3 yards per punt return and scored an 86-yard touchdown in the win over Fresno State.
The Senior Bowl is on January 28th in Mobile, Alabama. The game will be shown live on the NFL network.
