RENO, NV - Bully’s Sports Bar & Grill is unveiling a new menu, and while many favorites will continue to be featured, the winner and first runner up from Bully’s “Next Great Burger” competition will also be available starting on March 4.

According to a press release today, The Rise and Shine Burger, created by Jennifer Delano, beat out more than 600 entries to claim the top prize of the “Next Great Burger” and will be featured on the new Bully’s Sports Bar & Grill menu. Delano, a nurse at a local hospital, not only wins the bragging rights as the creator of the “Next Great Burger,” but also receives her burger for free for a year! The Rise and Shine Burger features a fresh beef patty, bacon, cheddar cheese, smothered in country gravy and topped with a fried egg.

Delano has been creating this mouthwatering breakfast and dinner combination since graduating from college, often after a late night out. When you want something hearty for dinner, but its closer to breakfast.

“My mom has always made the best country gravy which was too good to only eat on potatoes or biscuits so I started putting it onthis burger and it tasted great and let me get my breakfast fix all at once,” Delano recently said regarding her win.

The celebrity panel of judges included KOLO’s Pat Hambright ,Sam Shad of The Dining Show, Chef Jolly of Great Thyme Catering, News 4 ‘s Bryan Samudio, Nevada Baseball Coach Jay Johnson and 96.5’s Connie Wray and RJ. While the Rise and Shine was the clear winner, Bully’s Sports Bar & Grill also put the second place burger, The Messy Merritt on the new menu. This burger not only lives up to its name, but is also delicious with bacon and sliced grilled pineapple. Both burgers are now available at all Bully’s Bar & Grills along with Bully’s famous wings, new hand-dipped boneless wings, starters-2-share and great new salads and desserts.
