SPARKS - Three Reed high school athletes signed their letters of intent on Wednesday.
Mark Nowaczewski will play baseball for the Nevada Wolf Pack. He was an all league selection as a pitcher. He is also the quarterback for the football team. They play in the Northern Title Game on Friday against Damonte Ranch.
Spencer Empey signed to wrestle at Cal Poly. He's the two-time defending state champion.
And Mary Dettling will play softball at St. Martin University in Washington state. She was the Northern Player of the Year last season and was also named to the All-Region first team.
