Tahoe's Anderson Earns Berth in Olympic Finals

SOCHI, Russia - South Tahoe snowboarder Jamie Anderson earned a spot in the Olympic Slopestyle finals on Thursday.

Anderson scored a 93.50 on her first qualifying run, finishing second in her heat and in the overall. She was two points shy of the first-place qualifier, Anna Gasser (95.50) of Australia.

It also means that Anderson will not have to make a second run during the semifinals. She has already earned a spot in the Olympic finals on Sunday.
