Steelers Hanging Around Behind Resurgent Batch

PITTSBURGH (AP) - The Pittsburgh Steelers probably won't win the AFC North.

That doesn't mean they're ready to cede the spotlight just yet.

The Steelers rallied to a 23-20 victory over the rival Baltimore Ravens on Sunday to snap a two-game losing streak and keep them in the thick of the AFC playoff picture. It's a victory few outside the locker room saw coming, one led by a bunch of aging veterans who proved there's still some life left in their legs.

Quarterback Charlie Batch, who turns 38 on Wednesday, passed for 276 yards and a touchdown while 34-year-old linebacker James Harrison had a key strip-sack in the fourth quarter and 31-year-old Troy Polamalu registered two tackles in his first game in nearly two months.

The Steelers (7-5) host San Diego (4-8) next Sunday.
