(RENO, Nev.) – Nu Phi, Veterans fraternity at the University of Nevada, Reno is raising money for the Veterans Guest House at the Nevada vs. Boise State game on Saturday, Dec. 1. The fundraiser, which starts at 8 a.m. and goes until the start of the game, will allow Nevada fans to “Smash” a Boise State themed car.
The vehicle and paint job was donated to Nu Phi by Nevada Auto & Truck Wrecking and Performance Coatings & Auto Body. Fans can pay a $3 donation to destroy the Boise State car.
The game is scheduled to start a 12:30 p.m. and the fundraiser will take place at the Gateway plaza on the UNR campus. All proceeds will benefit the Veterans Guest House.
