Sacramento Kings Assign Ray McCallum To Bighorns

RENO — The Sacramento Kings have assigned rookie guard Ray McCallum to the Reno Bighorns.

McCallum, selected in the second round (36th overall) of the 2013 NBA Draft, previously played three games with the Bighorns this season (November 21-27). In those three games he averaged 22 points, 5 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.3 steals and 38 minutes per game. McCallum’s 28 points on November 22nd has held as the team-high this season.

He is reunited with former Kings training camp players Brandon Heath, DeQuan Jones and Trent Lockett.

The assignment is the 81st of the 2013-14 NBA D-League season and the second for McCallum. The Kings also assigned center Hamady Ndiaye twice this season.
