RENO, Nev. - Sources at the University of Nevada has confirmed to KOLO-TV that Nick Rolovich will return as Nevada's offensive coordinator.

He had accepted a job at Temple 10 days ago to become the Owls offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

The Philadelphia Inquirer is reporting that Rolovich was given a significant raise to stay, about $240,000. A Wolf Pack official denied that amount, but did admit to a salary adjustment.

Rolovich has spent just one season at Nevada, helping the Wolf Pack average 37.8 points and 514.8 yards of offense.

Quarterback Cody Fajardo tweeted his excitement of the news. "Super excited to hear coach Rolo is staying. Like I said before everything happens for a reason."

New head coach Brian Polian is expected to meet with his staff on Thursday. The University will hold a press conference to welcome him on Friday afternoon.
