Report: Spanish Springs QB Commits to Nevada

SPARKS - Spanish Springs quarterback Hunter Fralick has given his verbal commitment to play at Nevada in 2014, according to a report by the Reno Gazette-Journal.

The 6-foot-2, 190 pound Fralick led the Cougars to the playoffs last season as a junior, passing for 2,899 yards and 22 touchdowns. He only had three interceptions in 340 pass attempts.

He also ran for 289 yards and scored six rushing touchdowns.

Fralick passed for 2,063 yards and 15 touchdowns as a sophomore in 2011.

He had also received offers from UNLV and San Diego State.

Fralick can't sign a letter of intent until next February.
