Reno's Van Noy Named an AP All-American

PROVO, Utah - BYU junior linebacker Kyle Van Noy was named a third team All-American by the Associated Press.

Van Noy had 43 tackles and had 11.5 sacks this season, two shy of the nation's leader.

He was also named a second team All-American by CBSSports.com two weeks ago.

He is considering leaving college early for the NFL Draft. ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. lists him as the fifth best junior outside linebacker prospect in the draft.

Van Noy was the Sports Caravan Player of the Year his senior season at McQueen high school.
