BYU senior linebacker Kyle Van Noy has been named a third team All-American by CBS Sports.
This follows other All-American honors this season. Van Noy was named to the second team by the Walter Camp Foundation and to the third team by Athlon Sports. He was also named honorable mention by Sports Illustrated.
Van Noy, a McQueen high school graduate, has 63 tackles this season, including 16 for loss and four sacks. He also has two interceptions, 14 quarterback hurries, a fumble recovery and a defensive touchdown.
He is expected to be selected early in next year's NFL Draft, going anywhere from the first to the third round.
Van Noy still has one more college game to go, when BYU faces Washington in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl. That game is scheduled for December 27th in San Francisco.
