Reno's Van Noy Dominates in Bowl Game

SAN DIEGO - Reno's Kyle Van Noy was dominant in BYU's 23-6 win over San Diego State in the Poinsettia Bowl on Thursday night.

The junior linebacker had eight tackles, including 3.5 for loss and 1.5 sacks. He also had a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, an interception and two defensive touchdowns. He also blocked a punt!

He finished the year with 51 tackles, with 22 tackles for loss. He also had 13 sacks.

Van Noy is considering leaving early for the NFL. lists him as the 38th overall prospect in next year's NFL draft.

He was the Sports Caravan Stud of the Year his senior season at McQueen High School.
