Reno's Scott Cousins Recalled by Angels

OAKLAND, Calif. - Outfielder Scott Cousins was recalled by the Angels on Tuesday.

Cousins was batting .224 in 17 games at Triple-A Salt Lake this season. He had 15 hits in 67 at-bats, with a double, a triple and five RBI.

He has a .183 career batting average in parts of three major league seasons, all of them with the Marlins. He was claimed off of waivers by Los Angeles back in November.

Cousins is a graduate of North Valleys High School in Reno.
