SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - Reno's Kevin Jepsen will join the Salt Lake Bees on a rehabilitation assignment on Wednesday.

Jepsen is scheduled to pitch in a pair of games, and could re-join the Angels this weekend.

He's been out since going on the disabled list back on April 13th with a right shoulder strain. He began his rehab last weekend at Class-A Inland Empire, pitching a scoreless inning of relief on Sunday.

Jepsen has appeared in six games with Los Angeles this season, going 0-1 with a 9.82 ERA in 3.2 innings pitched. He does have six strikeouts.

He is a graduate of Bishop Manogue high school in Reno.
