Reno's Guldemond Finishes 5th in Olympic Qualifying

SOCHI, Russia - Reno snowboarder Chas Guldemond finished fifth in his heat during the Olympic Slopestyle qualifying on Thursday.

Guldemond missed out on a top-four finish by less than a point. The top four finishers in each heat advance to the finals on Saturday. Guldemond has one more chance to make it, with a run during the semifinals on Saturday right before the final round.
