Reno's Czyz to Play in NBA Summer League

RENO - Former Wolf Pack forward Olek Czyz will play in next month's NBA Summer League down in Las Vegas.

Czyz will play for the NBA Developmental League Select Team, made up of some of the top players from the D-League last season. They will play against the summer league teams from around the NBA.

Czyz played for both the Fort Wayne Mad Ants and the Canton Charge last season, averaging 11 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. He just signed a contract to play pro ball over in Italy with Enel Brindisi.

The Reno high school graduate was named All-WAC first team his senior season at Nevada.

He'll play with fellow Nevada alums Deonte Burton (Wizards) and Jerry Evans Jr. (Jazz) in the Summer League, which begins July 11th down in Las Vegas.
