Pack Swimming 7th After Day One
The University of Nevada swimming and diving team is seventh out of eight teams with 46 points after day one of the 2012 Western Athletic Conference Championships.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The University of Nevada swimming and diving team is seventh out of eight teams with 46 points after day one of the 2012 Western Athletic Conference Championships.
The Wolf Pack finished seventh in the first event of the evening, the 200-yard medley relay, posting a time of 1:45.21. San Jose State, who leads the event with 74 points, won with a time of 1:39.38.
Northern Arizona won the 800-yard freestyle relay with a time of 7:18.76. The win, along with a second-place finish in the 200, has Northern Arizona in second with 72 points. Nevada was eighth with a time of 7:42.39.
Action continues tomorrow at Palo Alto College with the 500-yard freestyle, 200 individual medley, 50 freestyle, 1-meter diving and the 200 freestyle relay. Prelims begin at 11 a.m. and the finals start at 6:30 p.m.
