RENO - Wolf Pack backup quarterback Devin Combs will miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury.

Combs suffered a torn ACL and meniscus damage in his left knee during Nevada's loss at Florida State on Saturday. The injury occurred during the first quarter.

He made the start against the Seminoles in place of injured starter Cody Fajardo. Combs completed 6-of-9 passes for 37 yards and a touchdown, before sitting out the second half.

Combs, a junior, started one game last season in the win over UNLV. He also came off the bench to lead Nevada in a comeback win over Wyoming in overtime.

Fajardo missed the Florida State game with a right knee sprain he suffered in the win over UC Davis. He is listed as day-to-day.

If he can't go against Hawai'i, redshirt freshman Tyler Stewart will make his first career start. Stewart played the second half against Florida State, completing 7-of-15 passes for 49 yards and an interception.
