Carson's Austin Pacheco kicked a 64-yard field goal this season, and now that kick is up for a national award.

State Farm and Friday Night Feats (fridaynightfeats.com) are searching for the top play in high school football this season. They will award the winning school a top prize of $17,500 to use in any way they see fit, from an upgrade to the athletic field to new books or classroom upgrades.

Pacheco made the kick with just :27 seconds left in the 27-24 win over Bishop Manogue back on October 1st. That kick made national headlines and was featured several times on ESPN. It's longer than any kick in NFL history, and the second longest in Nevada state history behind Dirk Borgognone's (Reno high) back in 1985.

You can vote for Pacheco at fridaynightfeats.com. His kick is listed in the Great Western Zone section.
