PG Deonte Burton Returning for Senior Season

RENO, Nev. - Wolf Pack point guard Deonte Burton has announced that he will return to Nevada for his senior season.

Burton had been considering leaving school early for the NBA Draft. He said this decision was the toughest of his life.

He averaged 16.3 points, 3.6 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game this season as a junior. He was named to the All-Mountain West Conference third team. He was the WAC Player of the Year in 2012.

Burton was not listed among ESPN's Top 100 Prospects for the 2013 NBA Draft.
