“Since its inception in 2001, the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl and the Sun Belt Conference have been great partners. The bowl game has always provided a first-class experience for Sun Belt Conference members and the hospitality of the bowl and the city of New Orleans has treated our student-athletes, coaches, administrators and fans very well,” said Sun Belt Commissioner Karl Benson. “We value this game that is played in the headquarters city of the Sun Belt Conference and we look forward to many more years of success in the game.”

“The New Orleans Bowl has been an outstanding longtime partner of Conference USA,” C-USA Commissioner Britton Banowsky said. “We are very pleased to participate in a great bowl game in a terrific destination like New Orleans.
