RENO - Wide receiver L.J. Washington has been kicked off the Wolf Pack football team.
Head coach Chris Ault told the Reno Gazette-Journal that it was for repeated violations of team rules. He had already been suspended for the season-opener in Oregon.
Washington missed most of the last two seasons with knee injuries, including a torn MCL that sidelined him for all of last year.
He had been expected to compete for a starting spot this season. He had five catches for 98 yards and a touchdown during his Wolf Pack career.
