Nevada's Polian Picks Up First Commitment

RENO, Nev. - New Wolf Pack head coach Brian Polian has landed his first commitment at Nevada. Kaodi Dike gave his verbal commitment to play for the Wolf Pack beginning next season.

Dike is a 6-foot-2, 194 pound athlete out of Stockton, California. He played both cornerback and wide receiver with the Rams, catching 35 passes for 559 yards and four touchdowns last season.

Dike made a recruiting trip to Reno this weekend and met with Coach Polian. He told Scout.com it was all he needed to make his decision on the spot.

"I took a visit down there this weekend and I loved everything," said Dike. "Coach Polian is a great coach with a good background and I feel really comfortable with him."

Dike was also being recruited by Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA, California, USC, Northwestern, and Fresno State.
