COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Nevada junior Grace Huang has earned Mountain West Women’s Diver of the Week honors for meets contested from Nov. 5-11, 2012. It is the second Mountain West honor in the last three weeks for Huang.
Huang, who hails from Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, assisted the Wolf Pack to a 160.5-139.5 win over New Mexico on Nov. 10. Huang won both springboard competitions, improving her NCAA Zone qualifying marks in each event. She posted a mark of 322.43 in the 1-meter springboard and a 330.75 in the 3-meter springboard. Her 1-meter score ranks second in the MW this season, while her 3-meter mark is third.
